Morning all :)

My gawd it feels like Monday today. Off to work this morning, have to run a couple of errands after, definitely an early bedtime tonight. Not sure if anyone else is watching the Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul - its fantastic, hilarious, and keeps me up way too late on Mondays!

8.5 years post-op

- coffee with cream x 3 over the day -

B - Premier protein shake

S - plain Greek yogurt stirred with homemade SF strawberries (this is good but not as good as the cranberries), sprinkle of toasted almonds

L - mixed greens and veggies salad, 3 oz chicken breast, poppy seed dressing

S - ham,cheese,pickle roll-ups (2), small handful of red grapes

D - freezer raid - beef stew, 2 melba toast

S - not sure yet, but definitely NOT shortbread as they have now been unceremoniously removed from my home

Have a terrific Tuesday!

K. :)

I have a PVR and only use it to record the news in case I miss it since it's not streamed online as fast as I'd like it to be.  I download all our shows then just stream them from my laptop to my smart tv without wires to boot, and there are no commercials to fast forward through.  LOL  Plus I don't get all the channels up here that have the shows that I like so this works great for me.  I tried PVR when we first got it for our usual shows and honestly the few hits of the remote to ff to the next 30 secs drove me nuts so back to downloading.  We have unlimited bandwidth up here so I know that isn't possible for everyone that has a cap but damn it works great for us this way.

Kicking the carbs is working good so far. No craving for bread or sweets thankfully but I do miss some crunch.  Will have to think of what will satisfy the crunch factor for me.

B - protein shake

S - protein shake

L - bacon and brussel sprout frittata

S - same as lunch

D - steak and asparagus

S - 1/2 can of tuna in 2 romaine leaves

942 calories 30 grams carbs 41 grams fat 118 grams protein

Left room to add more calories if I want but it won't be carby stuff that is for sure, maybe some shrimp if hungry

I too say PVR, I hardly watch anything at their time anymore.

Got stuck in the cold yesterday because I had my husband drop me off at the mall when he had a breakfast and the mall was closed. Ran around the building to another door and saw a sign. So had to run to McD's across the road to sit for two hours for a coffee. And I did all this with just a sweater because I left my jacket in the car so I wouldn't have to carry it around the mall.

Much later got to the new outlet and walked my 10,000 steps in the sun, it was quite lovely.

B- ham slice, laughing cow, pineapple

L- salad with veggies, slice of turkey, baby bell, mixed fruit

D- beanless chili and a touch of shredded cheese, mixed fruit

S- gelatin

off to walk the mall this morning for 10,000, open for sure :)

Fell asleep last night so will watch Saul later this week. I have been waking up in the night last few nights. Last night it was the dog wanting out at 1:30. Stayed up until 2:30. Leave me a little tired. Although I am enjoying the mindful eating I am really tired and would rather be going home.

Home show was a disappointment. Although I did buy a floor steamer. I had been looking at them for a while. It also came with a hand held which did wonders on the grout in our kitchen. I have all sorts of places I want to use it. As my husband says I have a new toy. I didget over 4, 000 steps without having to go out in the cold.

b greek yogurt, granola, blueberries

l beef stew, yogurt

s grapes

d chili,

s not sure

Keep warm everyone.

We love our steamer, gets the floors so much cleaner than mopping.
