What is the recommended %age breakdown of

I am 4 weeks out and as I am able to add new foods to my diet, I have been trying to figure out how to effectively use myfitness pal.  My center said to make sure I get 60-80 grams of protein, but past that there was no specification for daily calories or carbohydrate percentages recommended.  I am easily getting in all my protein and have been told to slowly replace shakes with high protein foods, and want to get this right.

Hey , 

I'm 2 months out now ( tomorrow !) and I've used My fitness pal since the beginning. I love it and it makes life so much easier !! 

I was told to not really worry too much about calories at this point.  The carbs , just from research and reading on here I'd say try to keep under 50 grams a day . That's just my opinion but I do think it works . I really only get around 30 - 40 grams usually . Some days I make the 50 depending on what I'm eating. My calorie goal on MFP is 700 , but that's just a guide for me as I have to out something in there . I don't usually go over that just because I'm quite early out and still not able to eat much . But I get usually 70 - 90 grams of protien a day . If I went over 700 calories , I would not worry about it . I think right now in the early weight loss phase , if we're under 900 - 1000 calories , we should be fine . But honestly , if you're eating right and having the things suggested to you for this stage , I don't see how we could make it to 1000 . I'd have to be eating all day !! But again, that's just me and I have been struggling with lack of appetite so others may be different . 

Focus on the protien and water , keep the carbs low and I think you'll do great . 

I have one premier protien shake alongside( and in ) my coffee in the morning , then I have a source greek yoghurt 50 ...which has 8 grams of protien , so before I'm out the door I've got in almost 40 grams of protien.  It helps me big time . 

The percentage meter in MFP for me is something like 60 % protien 20 % carbs and 20% fats ...I think !! 

Anyway , how are you feeling ? That's great you are having no trouble getting stuff in ! I was the same , I still am but it's just I'm still struggling to want anything !! Nothing really appeals . But that's ok , I can live with that . The only time I feel hungry is when I smell toast !! For some weird reason that makes me think " Oh man ...I want it " !! Lol .....I've not eaten any bread yet and I don't plan to start with white carbs again . Slippery slope for me . I'm quite happy having detoxed myself so far . 

Hope you figure it out dear . Don't worry too much though, just focus on the protien and your water and you'll be grand !

P.S ....when you complete your diary on My Fitness pal at the end of the day , it will tell you that you're not eating enough . It's just a message that comes up .
