I have sprained a ligament in my knee (I think - still waiting on x-Ray results). I am 4 1/2 months post RNY. I understand we cannot take anti-inflammatories for pain which is the first thing they suggest for the knee! Any ideas as to what I can take for the pain? I won't be able to speak with a doctor until Tuesday.😔

Try some voltaren rub. It is localized. It does contain nsaids but  not much gets into your system. Other than that heat and cold alternating.Hope it heals fast
