How much should i be losing?
I know my question is hard to answer.. I'm just over 2 months post op and once i started trying solids my weight loss slowed. I know its to be expected but i just want to make sure I am losing enough! For my 1 month post op i lost 23 lbs. But now another month later and I've only dropped about 11 lbs! I have been slower at trying solids. I've been focusing on getting protein foods in. I don't feel hungry and have had the flu and a viral infection this past month. I just don't want to be behind... i see the clinic on the 25th. I'm hoping they can tell me to have a certain amount of calories in a day or a range.. has anyone been given a range? Like the 60 to 80g of protein?
I step on my scale everyday and i only go down ounces.. i hope this is normal!
I will be joining the gym soon but the weather has been difficult with severe asthma and not having a license. The spring needs to hurry up and get here!

When was the last time you lost 34 lbs in two months? Likely never. It's not slow. Weight loss will fluctuate a lot and some months you will struggle to lose a few pounds and other months it will seem like it is just falling off you. Just stay focused on your centre's recommendations and all will go well. If you are scale obsessed and seeing a few ounce loss daily bothers you then put it away and weigh weekly.
Don't worry about the scale, you are looking at it too often right now. Once a week would be often enough. Different things can affect what you see day to day. Poops, water retention, time of day, time of month etc.
If you do want to weigh your self, don't let it be the only indicator. Try also measuring yourself. It will show loss even when the scale doesn't move. The more important things to watch for are the NSVs. Clothing getting looser, being able to do things easier, being able to do things that you couldn't before etc. Those are the real measurements.

34 lbs for two months is awesome! Don't be so hard on yourself. As long as you're following the plan, it will come off. I know, its hard when we have a slow month, but trust, that it WILL come off. Stay positive.
