I had my surgery on Jan 27th and have been feeling great. But today i am feeling pain on my left side lower back . It is like a pull feeling . Started from the left side going toward back . It's not that I can't tolerate it but it's there . I am using heating pad. Today was my 2nd day to work . I wonder if anyone else have felt this?

Thanks

Hey,

I experienced this around 2 weeks or so after my surgery.  I'm calculating you are around 2 weeks or so out ? Mine was the same feeling , lower left pain . Sharper when I breathed in deep or coughed or whatever . I actually posted here to ask about it . I had it for maybe 5 days or more . Most of the responses said it could be the inside incisions repairing and still sore . Around the day or so after I posted on here  it went away . I did a little more reading and seems that's likely what it was.

However , just keep an eye on it . If it gets worse or persists , call your Centre and ask them if you should have it looked at . Advice on here is fantastic but just make sure you are making the best decisions for yourself . Everyone is different right ?And this early out , don't take any risks if you feel something is wrong .

Hope it is just some incision pain and you can get back to healing well

Take care

Jax xx

Thank you so much Jax for sharing your experience. My pain tolerance is very high lol. But since this is so new to me I thought I better ask. Heating pad did help. I will keep an eye in it . As you mentioned it is probably the incision pain. Good to know that I am not the only one experiencing this  pain

I agree it is probably a normal thing but I would not let it go on too long.  On the other hand it seems pretty soon after surgery to be back to work.  Pay attention to what your body is telling you.  Take care of yourself!  I hope it goes away very soon.
