1st Surgeon Appointment tomorrow

for those of you who went out of Humber... what happens at your first surgeon appointment... Do I need to prepare anything??
We are going tomorrow afternoon.. I'm nervous!!

I was there on Tuesday. I did not need to take anything. The Dr. went over my BMI and commodities and told me he would preform my surgery. It was a 10 minute appointment. Then He sent me up to Dr Glazer to make an appointment to see him (July). Then over to the HRRH to have 10 vials of blood drawn.

I went to see Dr.Starr from HRRH in November and I didn't need to bring anything except a list of questions I wanted him to answer for me. I was in there with him for all of a 10-15 minutes. He advised me he wanted to do RNY, asked me a few medical history questions and asked me if I had any questions for him. AFter that I was on my way to the lab, the dang vampires took 10-12 vials of blood lol. No need to be nervous they are all really nice there or at least everybody I have met so far :-)

How did things go? Did you meet with Sohi?  Someone told me he wasn't performing surgeries anymore, only assisting. They weren't sure why. 

It went well! Although I can tell a, I hate having blood taken!  Yuck!!!

Dr. Soho said he would be doing the surgery, so not sure why you'd have heard he was only assisting!  Weird!

we Aldo met Dr.Glazier as when we went to book the appointment with him, it was right before they were going home, so that appointment is in July, but she told me to call closer to the date of the dietician/social worker/rn appt to see if there were any cancellations! 

Now ow to wait till the end of March for those appointments!!! :) 

i was surprised as my BMI had gone down almost 3% since my referral, man if I lose much more weight, I won't qualify for the surgery!!! 😊😊
