TWH Dietician, What to Expect?
The more you are prepared with your knowledge on your new way of eating, a "good" menu for the last two weeks, and the surgery itself with potential complications related to diet etc.....you can hopefully avoid a second appointment. Those were things that I was questioned on. That is just my opinion. Good luck.

Lorainne is the toughest one, I have heard. I had her, and she is definitely a speak freely type' which I appreciate! She has also always been there to assist me post op with any questions I have had.
Basically they will ask you questions about your eating habits, and go over your food log in detail. They will ask about past attempts and diets you have done. They will ask about your expectations post op, and throw in some questions regarding the stages the plan requires you to follow post op, example "Give me three foods in the pureed stage you plan on trying" Just to see if you have done your homework. They will go through the questionnaire they had you complete, to see if you answered things correctly. And at the end, they will advise if they would like to see you again, or if you are good to go onto your next appointment.
Good luck!
It went really well! Nothing to be nervous about.
Essentially we went over my food/weight history and graphed weight fluctuations over time. Then chatted about current habits, and expectations over time after the surgery and beyond - including going over the assignment. I got some of my questions answered too. All around a good experience. On to the next appointment!
