Apparently my prayers are STRONG!!!
Friday I got my surgery date of April 21st and was praying for a cancellation.
Well I certainly got what I wished for - surgery is now FEBRUARY 24TH!!!!
Freaking out!!!! Happy, nervous, excited, scared, OMG!
Start my optifast in the AM...holy cow....

Congratulations!!! The same thing happened to me went from 6 weeks til surgery and down to 7 days til surgery. It was overwhelming and scary but also a blessing. No time for food funerals, second thoughts, and I didn't have to do weeks on Opti. You will rock this, and yes Prayer is a very powerful thing. I had prayed for an early date, so had all my family members and everyone they knew lol. Go get em
I was thinking of what you said last night when I was purging my fridge/cupboards, etc. I didn't even stop and get a "last supper" - I just had a tuna wrap that I made myself...and I felt good about it.
I'm ready - my whole life has been one big food funeral..."the I'll start on Monday" syndrome....this way, I was starting today...end of!!!

Thanks LukesMom - I flew through this process on cancellations. Every single one of my appointments (surgery included) was a cancellation :) There will be plenty of opportunity for you too!
