Good morning :)

It sounds like you've been really busy on vacation, Barb - sit back and relax a little! ;) Sorry to hear about the continuing cramping - so painful, eh? Wakes me out of a dead sleep some nights and I have to pace the floors while sipping copious amounts of water to get it to settle. Glad you're getting it checked when you get home. One small tip for you - when you get blood drawn, do not pump your fist as this can give a false (high) potassium reading and I suspect yours will show low.

Today is day 2 of my Do-Nada-Pajama-Weekend. No musts, have to's, or clothing required (well, except for my little trip to the grocery store yesterday - clothing was NOT optional lol). Not sure what I'll get up to today other than a little prep for the week (which will only make my work week easier) and a definite date with the Walking Dead tonight, followed by Better Call Saul (Breaking Bad spin-off) - life is good. :)

8.5 years post-op

- coffee with cream x 3 or 4 over the day -

B - Premier protein shake

S - plain Greek yogurt stirred with homemade SF cranberry sauce, a couple of grapes

L - 1 egg omelette with ham, mushrooms, peppers, onion, old cheddar; 1/2 slice of toast

S - Chike protein iced coffee I think

D - leftover chicken/spinach/tomato pasta dish I made last night (to die for, not really WLS-friendly, I'll avoid much of the pasta)

S - likely just tea with a little milk as dinner is very filling

Have a good one,

K. :)

Good morning everyone.  Barb hope you do well in the tournament and Karen enjoy the rest of your Do Nada PJ girls gone mild weekend.

Had a fun night last night at a friends birthday party, it was so nice to be out.  Today it's physio homework, web surfing and Netflix.  Unfortunately no outings planned.  The day certainly looks dreary outside.  I so need to get somewhere warm and feel the sun on my face.  Winter can leave anytime now..

I hope it is too, Pat - I've been looking forward to it for months.

I'm impressed that your son and his girlfriend are seeking counselling. They obviously care very much about each other. It won't necessarily solve the break-up, but it can make it easier with clarity if it comes to that. xo

I think they also feel it will either bring them closer or they will realise they can't make it.
