Hi Everyone!!

I don't post often but I'm here reading everyday.......

I'm 16 Months post-op and maintaining. I was just thinking this morning how I miss chewing gum.  Is gum gone forever or is there a time when we can start having the sugar free kind??

No reason I can see why not. So long as you are not swallowing it should not create any issues.

Would it increase gastric juices and make you hungry in between meals?

I have not chewed gum since months before my surgery - almost 3 years! No real reason I suppose. It really should be fine but be careful not to swallow.
