Tomorrow I'm officially 8 weeks out of surgery! So far I've lost 40 pounds! I'm currently 210 pounds, I'm slowly approaching onederland and I'm so excited! I'm not the type to post pictures on any social media sites especially after gaining so much weight over the years, that when I finally did on my Facebook people actual seen my results. To be honest I don't see a change really, other than my collarbone trying to make a slight appearance I haven't seen that bone in years I'm happy it made a comeback lol!

As for what I eat, I still can't eat meat however, canned meat my pouch loves. I eat everything I've been eating in the previous phases. Little by little I introduce new foods in my diet and my pouch tells me if it likes it or not. However, I find it so hard to drink the required amount of water per day it's just something I have to work on.

When I build up the courage I'll try to upload a pic!

Thanks for listening guys!

Your surgery is approaching fast! 10.5 pounds is an amazing start to your weight loss so congrats to you on that because when I was on opti I didn't lose anything! I wish you very speedy recovery!

Hey my wee surgery friend ! 8 weeks ! My God it seems like eons ago but at the same time it feels like I'm just starting this process !! Weird .......You are doing fantastic doll ! I hear you about introducing new things , I just play it by ear and take it slow with everything.  I've not had any real issues so far . More mental things for me . I seem to go off things quite easily . I was enjoying eggs at the beginning but now I just can't do it , in no way shape or form . It's the thought of the shell ! I got a little bit of shell  one time and that was it ! Can't do them now . Salmon doesn't sit well no matter how much I want it to . Again , while I'm cooking it , the smell in the house takes over me and puts me off !! I just started introducing spinach and have no problems so far . My go to lunch lately is a little spinach with some light mozzarella,  a slice or 2 of deli turkey or something protien packed , a cherry tomatoes and a drizzle of light balsamic . It's honestly the best thing I've eaten so far as far as enjoying my food goes . I've not really had any appetite and not much appeals . But it's all good , no problems getting stuff in so I just keep plodding on.

I'm glad you are doing well darlin , and I'm looking forward to seeing your pix ! I don't see much difference either in myself but I feel good .

Keep up the good work and chat soon lovey

Jax xx

Hi Jaxie!

I'm happy your doing great! Eggs are my go to when I can't decide on what to eat, that sucks that you can't tolerate them anymore. To be honest my appetite hasn't really come back however, my hunger pains have! They aren't as intense as before but they are a reminder of when I need to eat. The feeling is quite annoying.

I definitely will update with pics soon lovey !
