You really shouldn't be taking anyone's prescription but your own but as far as taking T3 with RNY, it's an approved drug.  All Tylenol products are allowed.

You cannot take NSAID drugs. Tylenol products are not NSAIDs, including Tylenol 1 and Tylenol 3. They should be fine to take. You may want to discuss further with your centre or pharmacist. I'm glad you're feeling better.

Tylenol 3 is fine, however they won't last as long for you as they do your brother. Due to the RNY narcotics are metabolized quicker. IF they last 4 hours for him, they will last 2 for you for example. This MAY make you want to take a higher dose, or take take them more frequently, but I would resist doing that for many reasons...one is too much Acetaminophen is bad for your liver. Consider cutting it in half and taking half, then taking the other half an hour later to stretch it out like a normal dose would for a regular person and this will work better. Call your Dr. he might be able to give you something that will help. Hope you feel better soon =)

P.S - Make sure you are drinking as much fluids as you can. Getting dehydrated will make your headache worse.

If you have a continued high fever you should see a doctor. Keep drinking to keep hydrated. This can cause headaches as well

I wonder if you are dehydrated and that's causing your headache?? Try to take little sips every few minutes.  I would switch over to tylenol 1's -- at Costco you get a huge bottle of it for less than $10.  Hope you feel better soon.
