Eating after surgery, I didn't understand.

Not sure why, but I just didn't get the whole 15 minutes thing. I thought you had 15 minutes to drink or eat and then had to wait for 15 minutes for the next drink or food.

the day of surgery I asked if I had to limit my water and they said no, but that was wrong.

so now I know..... 15ml of water, then wait 15 minutes, then 15ml and so on.

Hi Pamela congratulations you made it!  During my hospital stay at TWH they explained everything at very stage. Before release they walked us thrushes first 6 weeks and gave us a booklet of info to take.

tKe everything slow and you be an drink 15-30 mil every 15 mins. This includes water and diluted juice. 

Meds and vitamins ..there are a few.  Put it on your tompngue and just swallow back with water. Not more advice than that. Yes you can mix them with yogurt but just try to look past the taste and get them down. 

I know everything is different now but one step at a time and really discover what works best for you. 

It will all come together.
