4 weeks of Opti ends tomorrow

4 weeks of Opti ends tomorrow.  I'm headed to the hotel tomorrow so I can be at HRRH first thing Wednesday morning for surgery.  Although this has been a 4 year journey to get here and I'm excited....it's starting to become very real and I'm very scared.  I'm assuming this is normal?

I am 11 day post surgery and feel great! life is back to normal - just remember to sip and walk when u are in the hospital - it really helped me with my recovery! nothing to be scare of - this is something you have been waiting for so long and your life is about to change for good . Stay strong and be positive

I am with Dolly on this...we had simultaneous surgeries and I too cannot believe how good I feel and haw smooth the recovery has been. 

I was nervous because I had only had surgery once before (when I was 3) but I had made peace with my decision and was completely confident that this was right for me. 

I will will keep my fingers crossed that all goes smoothly for you and you're home and on the road to recovery quickly. Walking really helped me feel better quickly and drink as much as you can so you can come home soon!

Thanks for the tip on drinking the water.  This is my first surgery EVER but I am all in.  No turning back now!  

Good for you, that's amazing!!! Can I ask, how come 4 weks of Opti???? Today is day 7 for me of 2 weeks. I'm not minding it though, but am still counting down the days left.

I'm not too sure why 4 weeks.  I'm guessing it's my bmi.  I'm a big guy.  I'm 6'4 and my heaviest was 473lbs.  As of today I'm down 50lbs...32 of those pounds lost on Opti.  I'm having Gastric Bypass tomorrow morning.

You go All_Risks!!!!!!!! Keep us posted. down 50 is a darn big deal!!!! Day 7 for me today, down 13 so far since Opti.....at least I know it's working!

Thanks Tbeau123!  I can already start to feel a difference.  You keep up the good work too!  Opti definitely gets the process started.

Best wishes to you tomorrow! This time next week I will be in the middle of my surgery at TWH. My first surgery also so I am a little nervous about the actual procedure, however I know that I have made the best decisions for me and the excitement is starting to overtake the nervousness. Will be glad to see the end of these 3 weeks of Opti!!
