Worst Day ever!!!

Hey Sandra , 

It really does suck to be delayed . I got delayed a month before the Nut would clear me . But everyone else here is right , it's honestly for the best . Even if you don't think her reasons are legit , or she was just picking or whatever ( how I felt ) its still gonna be a better outcome for you In the end . My ' flaws' were the fact that I mostly went long periods of time during the day after breakfast around 6 , until 2 or 3 without eating anything . I work in the community therefore I tend to just go from client to client until my day is done without stopping . But by dinner I'd be ravenous ...make awful food choices and eat too much . Then to add to that I was a ' TV muncher' . I may have been too forthcoming to some by going in and telling her all this , but now ? I'm glad I did . I'm way more mindful of when I eat , I no longer eat in front of the TV and I really think these changes make a difference . 

Now , I hear you about the My Fitness pal thing , it doesn't make things look good ! But at the same time ,like others have said , bagels are really carb and calorie heavy . So  maybe the upside of this crappy day will be to just make you think twice before you grab those bagels ?? Which will help  you on your way to kicking that carb monster within to the curb ! Something we've all had to do to some extent . I for one , feel soo much better having reduced my intake . I eat less than 50 grams a day now and I swear it's a different life !! No more crappy exhausted carb crash late in the afternoon , no more of that horrible sluggish guts feeling after bingeing on Italian bread and pasta ...Together !!! ( what was I thinking ?)  

Anyway ,I'm just trying to say , I totally sympathize with the day you've had . It does suck , but you will get there in the end and you'll be even stronger for it . And look at how far you've come already!  You have made amazing progress . Keep it going .

Keep your chin up doll , time goes by so fast . Your day will be here before you know it .

FYI, you can actually rearrange and add meals/snacks on MFP so that they aren't all lumped together.  You have to go into settings and you can make the changes. On my profile for MFP, I have:

Breakfast

Snack

Lunch

Snack

Dinner

Snack

I know exactly what you are talking about. I am out of HRRH. I had one bagel and was delayed 3 months. Was just told to log what I normally eat. Not eat like you have had WLS. Other than one bagel there was nothing else she could find wrong with the menu. I think it is a delay tactic so they make it look like you are not ready, not that there are no surgery slots available.
