What are you eating/doing today? (Monday)
Good morning everyone. Thank you for the video Libra. It seems like everyone has the winter blahs today. One year I remember working in my garden on March 3, the weather was incredibly warm. The neighbour came over and we decided in celebration of the warm spring day we would make it a sangria day. Fingers crossed that spring will come early, and there will be another spring sangria day in the back yard.
Yesterday I went to see my GP for my one week followup after leaving the hospital. He said my blood pressure was low and has taken my meds down to the lowest dosage. He is also ordering a 48hr heart monitor. He said my back will take time in healing and not to ru**** but is more concerned about why I fell.
DH took me out for an Italian espresso after my doc appt. and then we went to Swiss Chalet. I had the white meat chicken no skin and the Greek Salad, perfect the chicken was very moist and I have lots of leftovers. I loved being outside, cold weather could not dampen my mood.
Today it's physio homework (stairs), web surfing and Netflix. maybe a puzzle book to keep my mind from seizing up.

Good morning Karen! Just wanted to let you know I bought some vanilla protein shakes at Costco and they are quite nice. I got away from shakes because I just couldn't do the chocolate anymore. I did add 3 strawberries and 2 slices of banana to it. I don't usually do fruit either but will see how it goes. My weight has plateaued so want to see if I can kick start it again.
I'm really liking the vanilla too. I have a few chocolate left over and day after day after day they continue to sit in my fridge. lol I (very****asionally add a couple of frozen strawberries or frozen banana slices or frozen melon chunks and blend, but I'm lazy. I usually just drink it right outta the box. lol
I stopped drinking protein shakes for a while and found that I wasn't able to get enough in through food so went back to them. Good luck with your "kick start" :)

Thanks!! We will see if this gets the scale moving again! I am happy at my current weight but would love a 5lb window for weight fluctuations. Trying to incorporate a snack in here too. I thought I would have my greek yogurt with my shake this morning but I was way too full so might bring them to work and have them in my office for a morning or afternoon snack. My water intake is good and I brought my calcium to the office because I was forgetting it at home since we have to wait 2 hours after we take our multi and B12/Vit D. I need things right in front of my face then I won't forget them!!
