Nurse Practioner Appointment - TWH?

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about the Nurse appointments not being booked until May or June?  I have my date of April 14 but in trying to get onto cancellations, I was told that they aren't booking anything now until May or June. Anyone hear this?

Try calling back in the morning. They've been really good and helpful I've found about finding cancellations.   I found if I wait a day or two after the Orientation sessions, I've been able to grab something earlier.  I think it might be due to some appointments being cancelled by people who went to Orientation and perhaps changed their minds, and those pre-booked appointments are then cancelled.

I thought it was odd that my social worker appointment is in March and the nurse isn't until June. I'm going to wait till the March apt is complete before trying to jump on cancellations.

Mellybelly - I am going through TWH and I managed to get every one of my appointments rescheduled on a cancellation.  For instance, I was supposed to have my ORIENTATION on January 28th 2015 - I'm meeting the surgeon on Friday!!  My Nurse appointment was for end of March, and I had it on December 10th of last year.

They aren't booking NEW appointments until May or June - so just keep calling, there are cancellations galore!

Thanks for the advice.  I will probably just keep that appointment for April because I am having my sleep study done next week and it will take at least that long to get the results, which will be good to have for the nurse.  If I get it sooner, I will see about cancellations.
