What are you eating/doing today? (Thursday)
Morning all :)
Off to work this morning and planning on a busy day. My goal for eating today is to ensure I eat everything in my lunch kit, no "I'm too busy/in the middle of something" excuses. I found myself with a buzzy head and the shakes 1/2 way home yesterday after failing to eat the salad with protein I had packed. Stoopid, stoopid, stoopid! Dr. appointment early evening, not sure what else other than a date with my pjs! lol
8.5 years post-op
- coffee with cream x 3 over the day -
B - Premier protein shake (vanilla yumminess!)
S - muffin-sized crustless quiche
L - mixed greens salad with 2.5 oz deli ham, 1 oz old cheddar, cucumber slices, sunflower seeds, poppy seed dressing
S - Greek yogurt, handful of grapes
S2 - Chike protein iced coffee before my appointment
D - breakfast for dinner - 1 egg, 3 slices bacon, 1/2 slice whole grain toast, sliced tomato
S - just tea
Have a good one,
K. :)

Good morning everyone. Karen have a snack placed in the car if you need it. You don't want to be driving when you're light-headed, maybe some cheese, or a protein shake. Pat, I am so with you on the winter blahs, add to that cabin fever, and you have a recipe for late night snacking. Last night I ate a yogurt, then a slice of cheese, then a SF pudding, well you get the picture. I had one pound to go until I hit the century club, and as a result of last night's late snacking, I have a pound and a half to go. Well today is a new day, and I will try to make better choices. If anyone has good suggestions for before bed snacks that as Pat says will satisfy please let us know. Something easy that the DH doesn't have to cook.
Finally today the physio therapist is coming to the house this afternoon. DH came home last night saying he thinks is coming down with the flu. Let's hope that he feels better soon because we both don't need to be laid up.
