I understand there is a Toronto East Enders Support meeting on the Danforth, that might be a really good place to start.  I'm sure you have been tracking your food and exercise, but have you been planning your meals?  Why not join us on the What are you eating/doing today thread.  It's a great bunch of people that are totally there for support and to help us be accountable for our own choices.  Added bonus we sometimes have a few laughs.

That sounds great only problem I moved to Barrie.... I know there is a Barrie one I'm shy and there is a conflict of interest with work and Barrie meetings

I am almost a year out and I may not be the best for advice as I haven't yet dealt with this. But I would think you would just go back to basics. Eat what you were told to eat in that amount when we started the regular food phase.

Congrats for taking the step to get back on track! Good luck to you!

I know exactly how you feel, I am a little over a year and a half.  I haven't lost anything since last feb/14.  I had lost 110 pounds between my surgery june 2013 til Feb.  I was exercising and walking sometimes almost two hours/day and I was becoming quite anxious about not losing any more.  I really wanted to lose another 20, instead I put on 10 just this fall.  My surgeon said it is regain and its normal, I have not gained anything for about 2 months now and I think ive lost about 3, hopefully.  Surgeon said that the optimal age for the procedure is someone in their 30's and the results for older patients are not as good.  Another girl on this website said it took her a few more years to lose twenty pounds.  I track my food on myfitnesspal and I try to be real careful - sweets are very hard to resist but for me staying away from them is the key.  my meals are not difficult - I get abt 4oz of protein and vegetables, for breakfast I love pressed cottage cheese with berries.  I prepare everything in advance, I spend half a day on sat or sun doing nothing but arranging my food for the week, otherwise I simply eat at will - hope this helps a little.  I have found this website very supportive and post here those times that are the hardest!  I am striving to lose those last 20 pounds!  I know it will happen very slowly.

You should be eating about 1 to one 1/2 c of food. Protein first then veg. Try to cut back the carbs if they have crept back into your diet. Track everything you eat so you have something to take to your clinic. Try to be honest. Show the good and the bad. They can help you go over the changes you need to make.
