Feeling drained
I haven't had too difficult a time on the Opti and the energy level has actually been a bit better but I have had my cranky moments...when I have to clean up supper leftovers from the family. I just really have been trying not to dwell on the no food thing.
I have been using various flavourings (rum, almond, banana, coconut, maple) in the shakes and using a Magic Bullet to mix them with ice which certainly offers some variety.
I have heard others say the first few days are the worst so just hang in there and it will get better. I'm just finishing day 17 and if I can do it anybody can! ☺️ Hang in there!
I'm on day 6, and still cranky but the headaches are gone. I feel fine during the day because I am busy at work but when I got home in the evenings and see the rest of my family eating dinner it makes it hard. I have dropped a few pounds already so that makes it a bit easier. I just have my eye on the prize which is surgery!

It is definitely tough! I'm on day 5 and there have definitely been moments of frustration and moodiness. The headaches subsided after the 4th day.
Lunchtime in the office is torture. Can't wait to see how I get through the weekend. I have until Feb 1st and counting days and minutes. Hang in there. Keep you focus.
I am on my 9th day of Opti - 5 more to go!!
The first shake was awful- I made it with ice and first thing in the morning my stomach did not appreciate that at all and I felt a bit nauseous. This was the last time I felt that way.
No headaches, no stomachaches, no nausea - just constipation! Anyone know if we are allowed to take ex-lax or resorolax?
Surgery on Thursday - my biggest fear is getting sick with a flu or something that will affect surgery.
