Question for the vets

I'm home from the hospital and sipping and walking and walking and sipping. 😄

But I do have a question regarding protein. I'm using premier from Costco.  I had surgery on Friday-so still new.  When you were drinking your protein-did you measure it out? And if so? How did you do it?

Yes, I measured everything out including protein shake intake. I used measuring cups and followed what my plan allowed whether it be 1/4 cup, 1/2 cup, etc. For meat, I weighed using my trusty old weigh****chers kitchen scale.

Not right after surgery I did not measure my drink. Was told to drink how many a day and I would work on getting two bottles into me. Never did get all the drink into me.

I'm so nervous about everything!   They said to get in 2 shakes a day. But that is a lot!  Plus water!?!  Yikes!   But I'm trying! 

FINALLY sitting on the bench-albeit a bit sore. Hahaha. But I'm here. No regrets!!
