Hi there,

I am 14 months post op RNY and am looking at the twin rex prior to going on vacation? Do you know if there are any issues with this due to the surgery?

It's a routine vaccination that travellers get to protect against hepatitis A and B, wouldn't think there would be an issue.

I had it over a year ago - I am pre-WLS.  It is good to get, don't think it is contraindicated for WLS patients.  Are you getting it from your family doctor or from a travel medicine specialist?  I got the 1st dose, then a 2nd dose one month later and a third dose 6 months later.  This info might help you:

Thanks. I've had it in the past 2008 was just checking to see if there was any reason we shouldn't have it now. i believe my family GP is giving me an accelerated dose as we are leaving mid Feb. Can't wait to finally be warm :)
