ONEDERLAND!!!!!!

Stepped on the scale last night and was 201, this morning....198!   I am in onederland finally after a month-long stall from hell

Omg, I can't tell you how relieved I feel to have hit this milestone in my journey.  It has been  over a decade since I have been in the 100s so its a big deal.

Going to celebrate by buying myself a long sweater that fits, dammit!  I have been on a quest for a long top that fits me properly for months now with no success.  Even maternity stuff is not fitting now, too low in the front. I bought several leggings from Giant Tiger so need a long shirt to go with them.  The quest continues but I am determined

Well done Zizzler on reaching onederland. You will rock the leggings. I am going to get some of my old long dresses hemmed short to wear with leggings. Before my fall and being in hospital I was one pound away from hitting the hundred pound loss and 6 away from onederland. Who knows what my weight is now as I haven't weighed myself in over a week

I really hope to rock the leggings if I can find a top or top/cardigan combo that I feel comfortable with.  The issue is my belly, which is still quite prominent, so I need a longer top to "hide my shame" as it were lol  All the sweaters seem too thin, the wrong colour, too expensive, many are cropped, which seems to be the style right now. Ugh, not good for anyone with belly anxiety.  I even bough velvet leggings, which feel heavenly on the skin.  Soon it will be your turn to post about your onederland and hundred pound loss, you are so close.  Take care of yourself and keep us updated on your progress.

Hello Dreamy74, thank you for the post. You must be so excited eh? Good idea to post your menu pre-op, it really helps visualize your day to plan like that, even if your menu is limited.  I started my journey at 291 in August 2013, 267 when I started opti, 255 at surgery, so 57 pounds lost since August 2014, 93 overall.  My next milestone will be 100 pounds lost, which I hope to reach by the end of February.  I have no regrets other than not doing this 10 years ago, but that's life eh?

Zizzler how have you been feeling otherwise? I know you were having mood troubles. I ask as I am feeling a little grumpy right now while on Opti. But I'm not hungry and seeing food doesn't bother me (yet).

Thanks for asking, my mood is generally ok, I have some times where my mood is very low, every single time I have lost pounds the day after.  Mentioned it to my nut, beh, and np, family doctor, they do not seems concerned.  Apparently this is "normal" for the rapid weight loss period.  I go for a checkup at my centre next month and will mention it again, just to keep on top of it, see what they say/recommend. They told me they can refer me to a doc who specializes in post-op mood disorder treatment with meds and therapy if it continues or gets worse.  For now I feel generally ok.  After the first 5 days or so I was alright around food too, it was the first few days that were really hard.  I think it is normal to feel grumpy while on opti, it is not easy after all.  You will get through it and soon you will be on the bench with all the other post-ops. Hang in there and eye on the prize!
