P28 Pancake Mix
I have found a new P28 product and I apologize if it's been posted already (I did a quick search and didn't see anything). I found pancake mix while shopping at Popeye's. It comes in two flavours - Buttermilk Buckwheat and White Chocolate. I bought the Buttermilk Buckwheat.

Two pancakes provide 28 grams of protein however (2.5 years post op) I struggled to eat one. If anyone buys the mix, 1/3 of a cup makes one very large pancake. I'd even half that so that you don't waste the product. The taste isn't bad but like most P28 products, they were quite dense. Topped with a tbsp of ED Smith No Sugar Added Syrup and it was a nice treat.

That is great to know! Thanks for the information
I am not sure if you know there is a store in Pickering attached to Dr. Poon's Metabolic diet that carries all low/no carb, no sugar products including things like these noodles that are made of vegetables and are almost 0 calories. There is also an entire line of products called Walden Farms that has everything from caramel dip to fettucini alfredo sauces.
I am looking at the caramel sauce right now and it is calorie free, no sugar added, fat free and gluten free,no carbs
Oh, that sounds really good! Thanks for the tip. There's a Popeyes right at Pape and Danforth. I will have to go in there and check it out sometime.

I never really understood the part about buying low calories and low carn items...sure I did in the beginning, but if you are buying a box or jar of low calorie (whatever) and you are the only one using it, there is the chance that it will expire or go stale befor eyou use all of it.
I figured out at around year 2..that Sf barbecue sauce was just worthless, so was SF jam etc, because of how little I use. Unless you eat tablespoons of jam or that sort of thing I can't see how having a tsp of something once/twice a week is something that you can't do.
Maybe I am completely wrong in my thinking but as I approach year 6 of post-op..I think my thoughts work well for me, anyway.
prior to surgery 323lbs....4 years post-op maintaining between 108- 114 lb loss.
life is AMAZING when you continue on the right path~!. Use your surgeons gift to the fullest~!
