RNY  5 Years 9 Months Post Op

Morning

Meeting my trainer early this morning for weights - out with my DH the remainder of the day.  Going to try a new restaurant at lunch that gets 5 stars. 

I enjoyed The Book of Mormon the other night.  Not the best play/musical I have ever seen - but enjoyable. 

STEPS - 11265

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of coffee

     small banana

 

Post workout - Premier protein shake

 

L - 5 oz black grouper

     2 oz fingerling potatoes

     small glass of chardonnay

 

D - 6 oz sea bass

     1/2 cup of green beans

     2 small roasted fingerlings

 

S - Greek yogurt with 1 TB of granola

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above  menu are:  Calories - 1,206,  Carbs - 108 Grams,  Fat - 28 Grams,  Protein - 108 Grams

 

All water and vits

Barb, I'm glad you enjoyed the show!

Off to work this morning 'til 2PM, hair appointment after, meeting friends for a coffee late afternoon, not sure what else but I'm pretty sure it'll be an early night - I'm tired! Pretty uninspired with food today - my menu looks pretty "bleah".

8.5 years post-op

- coffee with cream x 3 over the morning -

B - Premier protein shake sipped alongside my morning coffee

S - Greek yogurt, small handful of grapes

L - ham/cheese/pickle roll-ups (4)

D - 1 cabbage roll

S - raw veggies dipped in tzatziki, likely a coffee with cream

I have a full weekend ahead…yoga course all day Sat. & Sun … hours go towards getting my certification to teach kids’ yoga, and finishing up my reports in the evening. Barb: I had the same thoughts re: B of M.

Good morning everyone.   I didn't have too bad a night last night, there has been a slight improvement in my level of pain, I did not ask for a morphine shot once, was fine with just the Percocets. They said yesterday that I will probably be moved to a rehab hospital but I'm not well enough to go there yet. Going to another hospital has got me feeling depressed. I just want to go home so bad. On the food front things have gotten better. They have stopped subbing alternatives for my menu choices and yesterday I got a cheese omelette for dinner.

Today I will be doing physio, working on flexing the muscles that are not injured (contract, hold, relax, repeat)   I have watched more TV in the past week than in all of 2014, my goodness there's a lot of garbage on TV these days

Glad there is slight improvement. Hopefully each day will get better. Yes daytime tv sucks a lot

Omg glad it is Friday, it's been a long week, work is crazy busy and stressful.  I have basically switched into survival mode at work in order to get through.  My goal is to keep from getting sick from the stress. My goals are to get through the day, be gentle with myself, do some work, go home. Yesterday I mentioned I have stayed at 201 for a month, well today...203! The stalls are for me by far the most difficult part of this process, really messes with your head.  Plus now I can eat and drink easier so I have to be even more careful. I may go see my family doctor next week.

5 months post op

b - premier protein shake, xl decaf coffee

s - plain greek yogurt with sucralose and lorann sf cherry or sf jello, small apple

l - leftover from freezer xl bm meatballs with pc San marzano tomato basil sauce, Parmesan cheese

s - simply protein bar

D - homemade beef chicken veggie soup with lentils

s - chia seed nsa "pudding" 

all vits and water

Good morning all. Almost balmy out there after last weeks freeze. Yeah Friday. Swimming today although I really do not feel like it. Busy weekend ahead.
