Dr. Allan Okrainec

I just found out that Dr. Allan Orkainec will be my Surgeon? Does anyone on this group have him as a Surgeon? Thanks!

He just did my surgery 1 month ago ! I had originally Dr Klien but was transferred to TWH due to a backlog at Humber . Dr Okrainec is a really nice guy , only met him twice but he seemed really pleasant , and very competent . I've had zero issues and have healed really well. He gets my thumbs up !

I had my surgery Aug 19/14. He was very good and he's not hard on the eyes. I saw him twice - once before and once after surgery. I have had no issues at all. He's a very nice man and excellent surgeon. The after care team is wonderful, too.

While he wasn't my surgeon for the RNY, I did meet him for my scope/biopsy. I didn't use any sedative so before, during and after the procedure we spoke. He was very easy to speak to. Great bedside manner!

Thank you all. I had seen people talk about other Surgeons but not Dr. Orkainec so I thought I ask. I am so ready for this. 2nd day on my opti and 13 more to go.... Yay!!!!!!!

How did your surgery go and how has your journey been?

Just wanted to find out of patients who had surgery with dr. Okrainec. I'm scheduled for Nov 22nd.
