HRRH - Appointment Scheduling

I just spoke with the office at HRRH and they advised me that they are now scheduling appointments for those who attended the information sessions in September.  I happened to be following up with something else and they mentioned it and since I know that everyone is anxious to move things forward thought I would share this information with all of you if you happen to be, like me, in the waiting game. 

Are you able to possibly call in for cancellations? I know at TWH, I went to my orientation on Friday and I called the same day and was able to get my Dietician appointment moved from May to February.

I am not sure.  I wanted them to check something specific to me and they did not seem to want to do that.  I did get an answer to my question but it was a general answer.  I went in December for the information session so I have not been waiting very long but just wanted to let those know who went before that where they were at.  I am sure if I pushed a little harder I might have been able to get more information but they answered the question I was calling about.  There may be others here that might able to answer the question about calling for cancellations. 

So I was one of those who had a September orientation (26th).  I JUST received a call yesterday that my initial appointment with the surgeon is booked for Jan 30th.  Calling them first thing in the morning (right at 8a.m.), and being super sickly sweet gets you places with the lady in booking!!!!!  She wasn't happy when I called again, but after explaining why I was calling, she was really sweet and nice and told me she would get back to me as soon as she could, it was another couple of days, but she called.... Now I'm just waiting on everything else......

I was at the September 26th orientation with my cousin. And she hasn't received a call yet. But I will be passing this onto her. Congrats on getting your date! 

I wonder if I met you there? I was the one that had the surgery and answered a few questions :-)

I remember you, I was sitting in the front row at the end of the table to your left, with my husband.  We both are having surgery, so we are working the steps together!!!

Wow congrats to both of you that is awesome! Sorry I didn't even know that you responded to my post. My cousin got a call Friday morning but missed it as she was sleeping (works nights). The message said they want to get her in on 30th. She is calling them first thing Monday morning. So I may see you there again depending on the times.

I go for my 1 year post op visit the following week :-)

Just got an email from HRRH.. My appointments with the SW, RN and Dietician have been scheduled for march 24th and 25th.. WOOT WOOT!!!
