Approximate time from surgeon appointment to surgery

Hi!  I have had all my tests, had all the specialists boxes checked for me to move ahead and have an appointment with the surgeon tomorrow. My surgery will be done at St Josephs bariatric center in Hamilton and will be done by Dr Amvari.  Could anyone share as to what I can expect tomorrow and how long, on average, the wait is between seeing surgeon and getting surgery done.  I will be getting RNY as have severe GERD.  Thanks

I was also at St. Joes.  I met Dr. Gmora at the end of Sept.  I received a Call from his office about 5-6 days latter with two  options.  I choose the 31st of October.

So once you get to this stage, there is not a lot of time remaining.

Thanks Loaf.  I met with Dr Amvari today and he said his office will call tomorrow or Monday and should be 3-6 weeks.  Just need to keep my fears under control and prepare for this exciting new journey.
