Just normal

My friend just posted a picture from New years on FB. It's a group shot of a bunch of girls. When I saw it, I barely recognized myself! I just look normal...the same "width" as the other girls...I don't stand out, I just blend right in.  I can't tell you how happy that makes me.  I can't stop looking at the picture.  It's very trippy. 

A lot of people think my goal would be to stand out but you got it right when you said "blend right in".

I am super happy for you!

That's amazing feeling I'm sure!  Blending in when in the past feeling the opposite. Congrats and keep smiling. I'm pre-op and can't wait to share the same when the time comes.

Yeah, that's such an interesting thing, isn't it? It is still very strange to me when I'm not the largest person in the room, but especially when there are women of various "normal" weights around me and I STILL realize I'm not the largest person in the room.

Aww that is great and so true.  I do the same thing at 4.5 months out, look at the photos again and again, seems unreal the amount of change in such a short period of time.
