2015 Toronto East Ender Coffee Nights - Save the dates!

Hi everyone! 

A group of us in the east Toronto area get together twice per month for a coffee night.  Everyone is welcome, whether you've already had surgery, are waiting to get surgery, or still making up your mind.  Feel free to bring family, friends, and other support people. If you're visiting town, or live somewhere other than the Toronto east end, please feel free to come out as well!

There is some WLS-friendly food on the menu - a favourite seems to be an appetizer of a stick of chicken souvlaki with tzatziki sauce on the side. And of course, coffee and tea.  

Hope to see and/or meet you sometime this year!

WHEN: 7:30 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month (unless they fall on a stat holiday)

WHERE: The Friendly Greek on Danforth Avenue (They are moving across the street in January 2015 to 494 Danforth)

Would love to attend some time but the traffic is so pitiful arriving from the west.  Just wanted to say "hi" to you and hope all is well in your world.

Thanks Barb, and hi back! Yes, the traffic is pretty icky on a weeknight at rush hour.  If you can ever make it, it would be great to meet you!

I'm going to make an effort to get on OH more often - things are well, but busy. And while I haven't had regain (except for my usual fluctuation range), I'm not as disciplined as I used to be about food planning - need to get back on the wagon again, especially now with the RH... :)  I'm looking at RH the way I looked at dumping - a blessing in disguise. LOL.

hi everybody. Just bumping this to let you know that I have updated the opening post with a link to the Facebook group for the toronto eastenders.

also, just a reminder that the first meeting of the year is this coming Wednesday, January 14. I will try to make it there. I have had a major neck issue that has kept me mostly immobilized for the past almost week.but if you join the facebook group you can see whether other people are going. Usually at least one person shows up and often many. I'm hoping to get there even if just for 15 or 20 minutes.
