Can anyone point me to some simple menu plans?  Ones where you don't have to follow recipes for every meal?  Thanks!

I'm not sure what you're looking for exactly? I guess meal plans would depend what stage you're at, what you like to eat, what your nutritional goals are, etc etc etc. You are most welcome to join us on the "what are you eating" thread each day for ideas.

Thx Karen. I'm almost 3 mos past surgery. Looking for 'regular' type healthy food, but no protein shakes. Lower carb, but not 'no' carb. I guess I start with a list of foods I like.

One of the best "lessons" I taught myself post-surgery for variety in my eating was that meals were not limited to "time of day food rules" - i.e. breakfast doesn't have to equal "breakfast food", it can be any protein I feel like having, even leftover dinner or something "lunchy".

Makes sense. A difficulty I find is that formerly bread played a huge role in breakfast & lunch meals. Trying to not repeat that. I have no adverse reaction to eating bread either!
