Learning to ask for help...

A history of being disappointed by others that you trusted  is certainly a common thread for most of us who find it a challenge to ask for help.  Trusting people is very difficult for me.  I kind of take Ronald Reagan's Cold War approach: "Trust but verify".  Sigh....

I'm not very good about asking for help either but when I do I am always floored at how friends & family step up. We are blessed.
