Had my appointment with the therapist this afternoon and it really helped. I explained my extreme anger and she told me I was being to hard on myself, that it is ok to get angry when unfair things happen. She thinks that since I am not longer using food to stuff down feelings that my natural feelings are surfacing, so they feel strange and intense. That makes sense to me so I am putting together a plan to deal with this in the future. Tomorrow will be 15 weeks post op!
b - premier protein shake
s - smart for life protein bar, xl decaf coffee
l - melba toast and tuna (mayo and water chestnuts flavour)
s - simply protein bar...later cheese string, xl decaf coffee....later sf fruit punch kool aid
d - late dinner...lf swiss cheese "chips" made in the microwave, rest of the homemade guacamole (avocado, oregano, fresh lemon juice, salt, pepper)
s - something hot, maybe hot decaf orange pekoe tea
all vits and water
I'm glad that you were able to get some advice and reassurance - sometimes that in itself helps. You hang in there, Zizzler! By the way, your dinner? OMG to die for. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed reading about it.

It was extremely good, thank you Karen. I have been making avocadoes that way for over 30 years and I still love that combo. Saw the behaviourist today and she had the same advice regarding my emotional issues. I described them in detail and she believes they are normal given the amount of change happening in my body now. She advised me to track my moods daily and to contact them if I am feeling severely depressed for 2 weeks or longer at a time, they can refer me to their psychiatrist who is an expert at medication adjustment. In the meantime she gave me some reference material on identifying depression and a list of alternatives to eating in order to soothe myself. It has been a very helpful few days and I feel on track again emotionally.
