RNT  5 Years 7 Months Post Op

Morning

Golfing this morning followed by an outdoor movie tonight.  Putting some beef stew in the crockpot before I leave. 

STEPS - 6800

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of regular coffee

     5 thin slices of Canadian bacon

     1 egg

 

S - 1/2 pure protein bar

 

L - cup of Italian wedding soup

    4 oz tuna salad

    green salad with 1 TB of regular dressing

 

D - bowl of beef stew

 

S - Dannon light and fit Greek yogurt

     1 TB of granola

 

MYFITNESSPAL Totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 1,172,  Carbs - 63 Grams,  Fat - 50 Grams,  Protein - 95 Grams

 

All water and vits

Barb, beef stew sounds like a great! I think I will do that over the weekend and freeze some for lunches. Enjoy outdoor movie night :)

Back to work today, the gym after work then home to walk the doggie this evening.

B- protein coffee, 1 source yogurt 3 apple slices

S- 1/3 c ff cottage cheese w/ 4 grape tomatos, 4 cuke sl

L- 2 turkey taco lettuce wraps w/ 1 oz lf cheese

D- same as lunch w/ 3 sweet potato fries

S- tea 4 oz skim milk

Oh fun! What movie, do you know?

I had PATS two days ago (5 hours, as they were behind due to an accident that had patients and staff showing up late) and yesterday's subway ride was two hours due to signal issues, and then a few people fainted (packed solid subway, not moving underground...blah).y eats were off both days. Not enough too days ago and not great choices yesterday. A quick sandwich from a gourmet lunch place yesterday, and a Starbucks wrap in the morning. Feel bloated today from carbs.

Today is spinning and weights.

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

Sorry you're feeling blah and bloated - amazing how our food choices can affect our overall feeling. I'm assuming your PATs was for your scar revision surgery? Your body has been through a lot in the last couple of weeks - please make sure you feel well enough to go through the surgery and recovery, Kelly. xo

Barb, an outdoor movie sounds like so much fun - enjoy!

Off to Heartland (many outlets/big box stores) at some point today to continue the "work wardrobe re-build" - sounds fun, doesn't it? Nope. lol Andrew is coming for dinner, not sure what else :) I just made myself laugh - I meant I'm not sure what else the day will bring, not what else Andrew and I will do other than dinner. ;)

8.5 years post-op

- coffee with cream x 3 -

B - Source Greek 50, Premier protein shake

S - 2 oz old cheddar, 4 rice crackers

L - 1/2 English muffin topped with 1 egg & bacon, tomato slices on the side

S - Chike protein iced coffee

D - BBQ burger all the fixings no bun, Caesar salad

S - likely just tea

Doctors appointment this morning. She was running late so got to work late. I have another appointment at 4:00pm with ortho guy so will be a short work day. Having gel injected into my knee. This is the first of 3. I just hope it works and considering the cost thank goodness for health insurance!

Tomorrow will be 3 months out for me!  So much improvement in my mobility and energy level in such a short time.  I can shop in most stores not, as long as they carry xl size clothing.  Just being able to run around with the kids in my family is such a thrill. 

tomorrow will be 12 weeks post-op!

b - premier protein, multi, extra vit d, b12, sf koolaid fruit punch

s - xl decaf coffee, smart for life protein bar, calcium/d

l - chilli and chicken soup

s - sf mandarin greek yogurt, xl decaf coffee, calcium/d

d - 1/2 fillet herb and garlic tilapia, slices of a small tomato with salt/pepper and a little vinegar

s - rest of fillet on fresh cucumber slices salt/pepper, vingar (love cucumber lately!)

before bed - omega, vit d
