NSV

Winter is fast approaching and I have been looking at boots. I have always had serviceable ones but no knee high leather. So I have been looking around. Today in Marshalls I tried a pair on. I didn't really like them on me and could put my finger on why. Then it dawned on me. Because they were too big in the calf. I always had heavy legs and they would never fit my calves because I was too obese. I actually started to laugh. So now I know I need to look for skinnier ones.

I swear, being able to wear sexy tall boots has been a huge NSV for me too, Pat. Even when I was "normal weight", many of the tall boots were still too tight around the calf. In the past couple of years my body seems to have shifted and settled and no boots are off limits anymore.

thats a big NSV Pat.  I still have heavy calves...but can fit the high boots...just...lol

Isnt it great to still get a thrill over things a few years out?  I dont ever want to forget what it was like being SMO - these kind of nsv's you describe keep it real

Awesome PatM!!  I was boot shopping today too! first time in boots since I was 14 ( and then they were 3 sizes too big to fit my calves)

They look so great don't they. I have never been able to wear them
