Question re. HRRH

Does HRRH offer a support group?

Having had all my appointments with them this year , I have never been given any info on a support group that they may offer . That's not to say there isn't one , just not one that I've been offered or is advertised freely by them . 

They may offer it during aftercare which I've yet to get to , so not sure .  It would be good though !

Thanks Jax, I was curious since TWH has one but I've never heard HRRH did as well. Agreed, it would be very beneficial. Will investigate. :)

They did last year. This year I am not sure. When I was going thru the program they knew I was from Barrie and they did not suggest I attend their support group, but I did see a poster at the clinic with their dates and times for their support nights.

My friend is having surgery this month thru HRRH and I know she wasn't given any information on their support groups 😳

Hi Karen

they do have a support group that meets on the last wednesday of every month from 6-7:30pm at the Finch site...it is run by  one of their social worker and a dietitian.

Do you usually attend, Annie?

No I did not get the Opportunity to attend as yet.
