Which system is best?
Greetings
I have explored both the "SparkPeople" and the "My Fitness Pal" sites for tracking, information, etc ...... I would really appreciate some feedback as to which program is the best for me to choose .... seeing as surgery will be on Dec 2, I really need to commit to one of them, and start tracking. ..... thank you in advance for your insight !!!

I use my fitness pal. Love it. Not sure about spark as I haven't used that one.

The truth is Arlene, which ever site you use is the best. The key is just using it. I'm not sure about SparkPeople, but I do know that MyFitnessPal has mobile apps that you can use. I know it's on iTunes, and am sure that I've seen it on Android. And you can log in through mobile or computer using the same account. So if you do an update on your mobile device, you'll see it on your computer.

I have used fitday.com but switched to myfitnesspal.com as it's much more user-friendly and complete (AND it synchs with my Misfit Shine). As Cathy said, whichever you choose will be best for YOU as long as you USE it. Getting started with it NOW is a great habit to start.

I have used both and I personally like both. I also have to agree with the comments above it doesn't matter which one you choose to use as long as you like it and will continue to use it :-)
