RNY  5 Years 7 Months Post Op

Morning

Golfing this morning - have golfed 8 of the last 10 days and I am beat.  Out for lunch and home for dinner. 

STEPS - 10,890

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of coffee

    Pure protein bar

 

S - 1/2 pure protein bar

I need groceries!

 

L - small cobb salad

 

D - Girlled chicken caesar salad

 

S - Greek yogurt with 1 TB of granola

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 1,091,  Carbs - 56 Grams,  Fat - 49 Grams,  Protein - 118 Grams

 

All water and vits

Good morning birdiegirl, your menu looks really nice.  Just wondering how losing the weight you regained has been going?  In your signature it has said 15 lost, 15 left to lose for a really really long time and am wondering whether you are staying the same or just not updating your signature?  Sorry if I am being nosy but just wondering how that is going for you, I really admire your determination. 

Going to do some "yoga fit" this morning at goodlife, supposed to be a little less advanced than the last class I went to, so maybe I will be able to do more of it.  We shall see.  Had the most awesome bath last night - lavender and tea tree oil mix was awesome! Also did some drybrushing before the bath and that feels great too. 

11 weeks post-op

b -  premier protein shake, 1/3 of a egg and flax mini muffin, multi, b12

update: Planned on hald but only had 1/3 of the egg flax muffin as it was very filling.  Now to see if it helps with constipation.  it only takes a minute to make in the microwave.  Just beware it is very filling so try just a little at first and wat very slowly to see how it goes.  I added 1 frozen unsweetened cherry cut up and used banana davinci syrup instead of stevia.  What I like about the recipe is that you can play around with it and change the flavour according to your preference.

s - quest protein bar, raspberry chocolate, decaf coffee, calcium

l - leftover turkey cabbage soup with a little parmesan cheese

s - 1 protini souflaki skewer with tsatzkiki, calcium/d

d - leftover turkey cabbage soup with a little cheese, calcium/d

s -  oatmeal with a mini banana, 1% milk, sucralose

before bed: omega, b12

I will update my ticker when I return to Canada.....I suspect with travelling and so many restaurant meals that I am about the same.  I returned to maintenance mode this summer....and am back to losing mode now. 

I dont mind the question Zizzler....hope to update my ticker to more loss in a few weeks when I return

Morning all :)

Not a lot on the go today other than house stuff and football this afternoon. OH! And Walking Dead tonight! We'll see what else the day brings.

8.5 years post-op

- coffee with cream x 3 over the morning -

B - Source Greek 50, Premier protein shake

S - 1 egg, sliced tomatoes

L - 2.5 oz pork loin, salad with dressing

S - Chike protein iced coffee, parm chips & salsa

D - BBQ burger all the fixings no bun, Caesar salad

S - not sure yet!

Barb, Just the thought of all that walking makes me sore. Sounds like you need a day of rest.

Zizzler your bath sound lovely.

Last day of my staycation. Got a lot done this week but not enough exercise. Up a few pounds so need to get serious on my menu

b 2 sl bacon, egg, banana

l curry squash soup with greek yogurt

s protein + shake with 1% buttermilk

d pot roast with gravy, acorn squash

Do you find the Pure Protein bar holds you through along with your two coffees?

( I assume you mean the "Pure Protein" bar with 20g protein in them?)

It does hold me if I split it into 4 sections and eat throughout the morning.  that plus lots of water keeps me going until lunch.  I also try to remember that hunger is not an emergency
