Karen, I don't know how you do that! Still have a protein shake everyday!  I am two weeks post-op and I cannot stand protein shakes.  I will have to add unflavoured powder to meals I think, though I do love actual protein that comes from chicken & fish etc.

Mostly because I have to. I cannot, despite how hard I try and have tried for many years, eat enough dense protein to meet my requirements. I continue to have exceptional restriction and aside from throwing a protein shake into my daily mix, I would not get enough, plain and simple. When I first started out I always viewed protein shakes (and vitamins for that matter) as "medicine", required. I didn't complain about protein or other supplements not being "tolerable", I simply tried another, and another, until I got it right. I eat to survive but admit to being a total foodie - I love food, I love cooking, I love eating. I've just found my way of making everything work. For me.
