Good morning everyone. I am starting to feel really anxious. I had my orientation in April and have not heard anything. I am using my time wisely  preparing for surgery. Exercising more, cutting out caffeine and sugar and cutting down on portion sizes...... But stiil haven't heard anything. Is anyone else in the same boat as I am that is gong through Hamilton ? Just need some reassurance that this is really going to happen some day.

Im currently going through Hamilton, and my Surgery is this Friday Morning

The process does take a long time at the beginning and all depends on our health

it took about 5-6 months after orientation to get a date to see them,

but when you go see them the ball is rolling fast,

im getting my Surgery about 3 months after my first meeting at the bariatric clinic which i believe was a dietician meeting

They also just moved the clinic so there is a bit of delay as well as they are changing from paper to computer from what the doctor was telling me the other day.   Just had my rny on the 15th. If you need any more info just send me a msg and I'll try to help you out as much as possible

Hi there.

As a follow up.  i am also in Hamilton.  The initial  part is the longest.   from Orientation to meeting with Julie or Adam is the longest Hall... Once you hit that point it moves fast.  Really Fast.

I believe that if i recall my dates, my orientation was in January.  Then first APT. with Adam was on May, then with the shrink in July, then internet in Aug, then cutter in sept and now VSG in OCT.  So ... this is the longest hall.. once you are in Program.. it comes hard and fast.
