Good morning Barb. Enjoy your golfing. I need to do something active today.

Yesterday I had two naps and except for going to a movie did absolutely nothing except read. I have never been so sluggish in a long time. We saw the Hundred Foot Journey. I really like Helen Mirren. Enjoyed the movie

Feeling better after doing some cbt charting yesterday.  It took a few hours but I managed to process and address the thoughts that cause the anxiety within me.  Not that those issues will go away, but at least I have a plan to deal with each one now, feels good.  Still thinking about returning to work a week early - I feel good and that way I can keep more of my vacation pay for the future.  We shall see how things go.  Went out to baton rouge yesterday and had some garlic mashed potato and a grilled chicken breast with grilled zuchinni and peppers, goat cheese.  Oh my go**** was huge!  I ate maybe 1/10 of the plate and knew it was enough.  I chewed very very well and the meat was moist with a little sauce, so there was no issue.  I guess I just miss that feeling of being full like before.  Now it is a feeling of tightness in my chest that tells me it is time to stop rather than my stomach.  Also I will maybe burp and feel a little nausea.  Does that sound normal?  I have no desire to have any of the 9/10 of the meal I brought home, so will be putting that in the freezer I think.  My fridge is full of food that will go bad but I just can't eat it. Really bothers me to waste food but it is better than making myself sick. Plan to take a nice walk with my doggies today, and possibly a movie.  I would also like to do skin beauty treatment or two.

I have heard a few people get the burbs when full. I find having small frozen meals handy. we have a microwave at work so it is easy to grab something for lunch

Do you make your own meals Pat or buy them?

I make my own. I make big batches of chili. Also I have ham and pea soup in the freezer at present. I work downtown with a multitude of restaurants and fast food. I just find it mostly a waste of money since I can no longer eat what goes for a main meal

Great idea - and I love chilli!  I hate wasting food but I know it is sometimes unavoidable, even more so after surgery.  Ham and pea soup sounds awesome too, I will have to try that, thank you.
