I have a question about something

Hey everyone hope you are all doing well I have a question last night when I was going to bed I felt a burning sensation in my stomach I drank some water and it didn't do nothing but I just ignored it and went to bed, this morning everything was fine till now, I feel the same burning sesation I don't know what it is or if this is normal? Has anyone ever experience this?

Maybe you're hungry for dinner. Just a thought.

At our post op class they said you can have your described sensation as the inside nerves are healing. Just a possibility I thought I would mention.

When this happens to me my GP just refills my Prevacid and I take it for a week or 2 just in case it's the beginnings of an ulcer. Usually resolves itself. I would try to stay away from anything acidic and maybe take the prevacid for a week or so. If it gets worse, call your surgeon. Good luck

I had the same sensation for about a month after surgery.
