What are you eating/doing today

I like it very much, yes. I took a 20K pay cut when I took it to like my job again. I love the politics (nature of the beast, not necessarily office politics), the energy, the outreach to the public, the learning... I could go on. Some of the women I work with? Not so much.

I'm not planning a return next week or anything - in reality I have until this time next year to get back according to insurance/City policies. I just feel such an urge to get back to life. I think it might have been the upcoming election that has me fired up a little. lol

You will miss Hazel. Have to get used to a new mayor.

The prospects aren't pretty. I am forever thankful that Rob Ford doesn't live in Mississauga. The prospects look a lot prettier when I keep that in mind. LOL!

Hazel has left some pretty big shoes to fill for such a little lady.  Karen be kind to yourself when you do decide to go back.  It sounds like you owned that job and I'm sure passing it onto someone else temporarily was stressful also.  It will take time for you to feel ownership of the job again, but it will happen.  We know you here, and we know you rock.
