I hope your corn is as good as the ones we had last night. Best corn I have had in years. I had mine with a few ribs. I am having garden tomatoes for lunch today. They were just picked yesterday so can't wait to slice into them.

Good Morning.  Barb your garden sounds amazing.  I went to the farmers market yesterday to pick up some cherry tomatoes.  I am not supposed to have raw veg for another 2 months, so I will roast them.  Today I am off to Guelph to see my surgeon.  Hopefully he will give me the green light to start biking.  Went to the movies yesterday and saw The 100 foot Journey, loved it, beautiful movie, well acted, nice story.

Every seasonal fruit and veggie i've had this year has been wonderful. Crappy weather in winter/summer? Maybe the reason? I'm loving it though!

Morning all :)

Barb, I love your dinner. The corn has been so good this year and nothing beats tomatoes fresh from the garden. I'm a little over-run with tomatoes, hot peppers, spicy oregano and parsley at the moment - friends and neighbours have been only too happy to help with the eating of it all. lol

I read over my menu from yesterday and I way over-estimated what I thought I would be eating - I likely got half of what I listed. After all these years, eyes are still bigger than stomach at times. I'm grateful that I still have restriction that doesn't allow me to overeat, just because it's there.

Not a lot on the go today - hopefully the rain stops. Either way, there is gardening to be done! If anyone knows how to get grass to stop growing in my garden I would be happy to try it!

Karen. I'm bringing Lisi (you met her last year) and someone new, her name is Chris, to the lunch. :-)

I want wings, your menu looks super-yummy!

Morning all,

I seem to be hit and miss with my posting these last couple weeks, something to work on!

Fresh garden tomatos.....nothing better! I have been eating them for a couple days, i think I an going to freeze some for soups and such!

I have decided not to eat beef again for a very long time, tried it again last night and was not well within 1/2 hour of eating it. Pain, gassy and wanted to throw up. This happens everytime I try eating it and I have tried it several different ways.

Everyones menu looks so good! Enjoy the fruits of your garden labours ladies!

L- 1 cup homemade chicken fahjita soup

S- 1/2 orange, 1/4 cup greek yogurt

Be well everyone!

Tanya
