I have a pack of the black bean ones that I haven't opened yet. I have tried the soya bean noodles by the same company, and they're pretty decent.

FYI you can buy the Shiritaki noodles at most grocery stores now. I know they sell them at both Metro and Loblaws often on sale for 2 for $4.

Thanks, I know I looked last year and didn't see them...will look again when I am there..even though I am not so sure I want to try them after hearing how they smelled...yikes..

They are normally in the produce section where you find the tofu. They come in a bag of water. I don't mind the smell too much if you rinse and drain right away. Great with pasta or cheese sauce.

The Low Carb Grocery also has sugar free cider and hot chocolate that may come in handy for these colder nights. At certain times of the year they have sugar free cranberry sauce. Their light whole wheat Betty bread is good for toast or sandwiches and is fairly low in carbs and high in fiber. I like the tofu shirataki noodles for Italian style dishes and the regular shirataki are great for Thai or Chinese soup and for Pad Thai. They also have lots of good flavourings by DaVinci. Read the reviews on the products, they are very helpful when making a selection. If you spend $100 delivery is free.
