WooHoo! Referral Received and Information Session Booked!
Judyeliz,
Congratulations! I have my Orientation for Sept 03 in Sudbury. As far as I know, at my center we arn't required to bring along any copies of tests etc. I've only filled out their medical documents/questionnaire.
I wasn't told to bring anything like that, only pad of paper, parking etc. I just want to be certain.
Cheers,
Wes
Hey Wes,
Just had had my orientation today in Sudbury .... Don't need anything except your health card,a lunch,4 bucks for parking and a pen!
Lots of info ... We finished early at 200 .... Which was nice since I was told 430.
next step is one on one appointments which I heard won't be till Feb! Very sad about this and hoping it's not true!
Janet
Hi Janet!
It is good to know that there is a good info session! I have heard Sudbury parking is awful, my brother works there. Thank you for letting me know!
Febuary is depressing! Maybe they are saying that to give their staff a lot of leeway, but that is wow. Oh well, it is the waiting game as we know. We are fortunate in Ontario though.

Hi Wes,
On the patient questionnaire it asks for photo copies of certain test results if you have had them. And to bring them along with the questionnaire to the information meeting. Specifically, heart tests, previous sleep studies, and bone density scan. I think that is it, but I haven't read it over completely yet.
Oh, and I did try calling both those numbers you gave me, only could leave messages. I also emailed the Registry and the Clinic. I also had my doctors office try to contact the Registry about my referral, they never received any response. So I am not sure if calling and emailing helped, or maybe it was just my turn. But it did help me to think at least I was doing something.
