RNY  5 Years 4  Months Post Op

Morning

Last day of the tournament....I am beat....but glad I persevered with broken toes as I love the camaraderie.....haven't completely embarrassed myself but no where near the winners circle

STEPS - 12,200

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of coffee

     Premier protein shake

 

Snack on the course

     - 1/2 of leftover Oh Yeah bar

     - Hard boiled egg

      - 4 triscuits with 4 slices of old cheddar

 

After party - fruit and cheese from the buffet

 

D - 2 cups of tomato-pepper-vidalia onion and feta salad

    4 oz grilled chicken

    glass of merlot....maybe - in my totals but may not have...especially if I would rather have some tylenol

 

S - 1 popsicle

    1 Soiurce dessert yogurt

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 1,140,  Carbs - 64 Grams,  Fat - 49 Grams,  Protein - 85 Grams

 

All water and vits

Good Morning Barb.  Well done for persevering through the tournament with your injury.  Maybe in the next few days you should tape up the broken toes to adjacent toes and give it a chance to heal.  Enjoy the camaraderie.

2 weeks post-op full fluids

B. 1 Source Greek 50 yogurt

S. 1 Syntrax Cappucino protein shake made with milk

L. 1 cup strained Chicken a la King soup with protein powder added

S.  going to friends so not sure, maybe a tomato juice

D.  we are going out for dinner, so I will have the soup

S. 1 Greek 50 yogurt that I will sneak into the movies

Good morning,

Barb, enjoy the rest of the tournament, then hopefully the toes can heal 

I am back to my routine this week if it kills me! Last week was just crazy, extra hours at  work, juggle home stuff and appointments! I got way off my routine and I didn't like it.

Today will be a cooking day, I need to replenish my freezer meals. So chili, taco cassarole, chicken veggie soupand a big batch of egg muffins :)

 

B- protein coffee, small banana w/ 1 tbs peanut butter

S-1/3 cup greek yogurt (garlic and pepper) w/4 cuke slices

L- 3/4 cup ground turkey chili

D- 3 oz chicken breast, 1/3 cup greek salad

S- 1/3 cup greek yogurt, tea

Good morning all. Not a great day out there. May go to a movie later. I have put a pure protein bar in for the movie. I have been craving popcorn so I hope the smells do not get to me or I will be making some tonight. I tend to over eat popcorn.

Otherwise no plans except laundry and getting stuff ready for work.

Hi Pat, What movie will you see?

I use to love popcorn pre surgery, can't tolerate it now. Almost like gallbladder attack when I eat it now, so I stay away from it. I do love the smell of it though

Morning all :)

Despite the early rain it's turned out to be a beautiful morning out there. Going for a good walk shortly, have a couple of errands to run (so glad everything isn't closed today), some cooking to do, afternoon cards and dinner with Andrew, maybe a movie tonight, we'll see. My menu looks pretty carby today - the nice thing is it can be and it's okay - a rare day, consider it a treat, and back to usual routine tomorrow. :)

Barb, super impressed (but not at ALL surprised!) that you've stuck it out in the tournament - you've got balls, lady! xo

8 years post-op

B - coffee with cream x 3 over the morning, iogo 0%

S - Chike protein iced coffee, later: 1.5 oz Havarti 2 melba toast

L - 1 C tuna pasta salad (3.5 oz tuna, mayo, veggies, 1/2 C pasta), handful of grapes

Stoopid OH wouldn't let me finish - maybe it was all the carbs. LOL Anyway, the rest:

S - veggies and dip

D - 1.5 C Chicken and mushroom pasta casserole with Swiss cheese sauce (gawd help me), extra sautéed mushrooms and onions on the side

S - oh HELL no
