CPAP - Oh Crap!
I'm scheduled for my surgery next month, and due to Murphy's law, my CPAP machine decided to crap out. (in all fairness, it is 10 years old)...
My doctor's office is trying to get me a referral to a respirologist to get a script for a new machine quickly, but they can't promise anything... Thankfully, I had a sleep study done earlier this year, so it should be a quick visit.
Does anyone in the Oshawa or Brampton area have a machine they aren't using anymore that they'd be willing to loan? Just in case I can't get into the sleep doctor before my surgery, so I have a plan "B".
Thanks all,
Josh

I know someone in my area (owen sound area) that would more then likely be willing to meet you some where in a pinch.
The place I got mine from lent me one to try for 6 weeks, free. (but I am in Cambridge)...but I think other places may do this as well, or as another poster suggested, rent you one.
The sleep clinic I went to also did the referral for me, I just had to tell them which place I wanted to go. Have you tried calling them?
I hope you get this sorted out in time. Best of luck with your surgery.
