Sounds like the same thing, except I had no symptoms beforehand. Glad you're okay!!

Thanks everyone for your kind words!  My journey had, to date, been textbook. Just goes to show that you can never tell for certain!  But just have to go with the flow. I still would not change the decision to have the RNY. My life has improved a thousand fold. The associated risks are worth it, in my opinion (and in my particular situation!)!

Just going though the post looking for hernia topics and found yours!  Had RNY 3 yrs ago and a panni in July this year, just diagnosed with a hernia.  I know how bad the pain is, almost called the medics, but didn't want to see my co-workers while in that condition lol 

I was just wondering how long you were off for after your second hernia repair and if the pain was worse than panni and RNY ?
