I'm home! Feeling super!
I'm so happy to be home!
My surgery went well, no issues at all. The day of surgery I was sore in my back and shoulders which is a side effect of the air they blow in your abdomen. I was drinking and peeing right away and I was walking the evening of my surgery.
All the nurses in Guelph were awesome. I felt like I was in great hands through the whole experience.
I came home with prescriptions for Tylenol 2, prevacid and a stool softener. The surgeon also prescribed a blood thinner, Lovenox, which she told me today I don't need to take if I'm getting up and walking around.
If anyone has any questions I'd be happy to answer them!
Sonja

Kathy I saw earlier that you've lost 30 pounds since surgery. Good for you :)
